Experienced people who genuinely care.

Our educators and wellness practitioners bring knowledge, curiosity and personal support to every client experience.

Hi! I’m Katie

Katie is Encore’s founder and director, and the reason our team teaches the way it does. Known as The Pilates Pro, she has more than 20 years of teaching behind her and trains Pilates teachers nationally. She founded Pilates Pro Academy, the only Pilates Association of Australia recognised reformer and mat teacher training in the NT, and she hosts The Pilates Lounge Podcast. Katie works with clients living with brain injury, chronic pain and complex health conditions, and people preparing for or recovering from surgery. She leads the training for our whole team.

Meet the Team

Pilates Teacher
Matt

Matt came to Pilates through his own spinal injury. He now has more than eight years of teaching behind him and a degree in Exercise Science. His own experience of injury is a big part of why he’s so good with people in pain. He teaches in both the clinic and group classes and has real depth with complex conditions. Around the studio he’s known as “Matt Love a Chat” because he always has time for a conversation.

Clinical Pilates Teacher | Group Teacher |
Massage Therapist

Nat

Nat trained in exercise physiology in Brazil and has been teaching for more than eight years. At Encore she is a clinical Pilates teacher, group class teacher and massage therapist. She has a sharp eye for detail and a gentle, unhurried way of working.

Customer Experience Team | Group Teacher

Gabi

You’ll probably meet Gabi first. She leads our customer experience team and teaches group classes too. Clients love her kindness and the way she makes each person feel looked after. She brings meditation and self-awareness into her classes while still making them properly challenging.

Group Class Team Leader
Safia

Safia grew up in France and started gymnastics at three. She’s our group class team leader and is working towards becoming a clinical teacher. Before Pilates she worked as a nutritional advisor in France and in team leadership and customer care roles. She loves seeing clients progress and realise they can do more than they thought.

Group Teacher

Kayti

Kayti comes to Encore with years of yoga practice and teaching behind her. She has a gift for explaining movement in a way that makes sense and loves the foundations, taking time to go deep into how and why an exercise works.

Group Teacher
Lucy

Lucy started Pilates with us as a teenager and became the youngest instructor ever to certify with Encore. She has grown up around movement and is now studying in the health field. Clients love her bright, bouncy energy and her classes honour the principles of Pilates.

Pilates Teacher

Ana

Ana has always loved being active, and back pain first brought her to Pilates. She teaches because she sees what Pilates does for people’s physical and mental wellbeing, and because every class teaches her something new about her own body. Fun fact: Ana doesn’t like chocolate.

Pilates Teacher
Di

Di grew up watching her ballerina sister do Pilates while she played netball, softball and soccer. Pilates has given Di a new lease on life, helping with old sports injuries and bringing friendship and happiness. Di is 60 years young this year and living proof that Pilates keeps you moving well at any age.

Reformer & Mat Teacher

Debbie

Debbie spent 30 years as a graphic designer before starting her reformer and mat teacher training in mid-2025. She teaches both and loves that a good class has structure and intention while leaving room for creativity. She values the trust clients give her to listen to how their body feels and guide them through movement they’re unsure of.

A team that keeps learning.
